The guest speaker is Bruce Di Labio
BIO: Bruce Di Labio is one of the top birders in Canada.
Bruce is a native of Ontario whose passion for birds and birding began when he was 7 years old. Bruce takes his love of birds and photography to a very high level. He enjoys the challenges of conducting birding ‘Big Days’ and ‘Big Years’. In 2023 Bruce started a Canada Big Year and set a new record of seeing 480 species that year. During his career, Bruce has worked at the National Museum of Canada, at the Nature Canada bookstore and as an environmental consultant. Since 1998, Bruce has been working as a full time bird guide both independently through his company Dilabio Birding Inc. and with major North American tour companies. Bruce will be spending September birding in the Covehead area.
